Writing Talk

Finally finished my novel, The Open Arms of the Sea today. The last edit signed off and ready to be beamed to the printers.  Reckon its about three years work, on and off.  Four if the original short story is coralled with it. It is going to be my first published novel, albeit by POD. But it’s a real book. Written by me. Is it any good? Time and reader’s will tell but I think that maybe it is. It won’t be to everyone’s taste, nothing ever is, but my hope is that it will be be seen to be well written, in a distinct and persuasive style, with fleshed, empathetic characters, intriguing setting and themes and good, involving story.  But then I’m a biased optimist. And a novelist.
